WHAT IS MAKER FESTIVAL?
Maker Festival brings together Toronto’s most creative people and projects to inspire an openness to possibilities, a sense of active participation in shaping our world, and a yearning for a more wonder-filled tomorrow. This new partnership will build on the creative imagination of previous Maker Festival events, and incorporate the inspiring environment of Ontario Science Centre.

WHO IS A MAKER?
If you make something using your head, hands and heart, then HAZAA! – you’re a Maker! Simple right? We’re now on the hunt for creative people, projects, organizations and ideas to take part in Maker Festival. If you’re a maker, show us your stuff! And don’t forget there’s Rally Alley — the zone curated for makers start-ups with physical prototypes. If one or all of these is you, please fill out our Call for Makers before April 13, 2020. Go makers, go!
Maker Festival is a 100% volunteer organized non-profit event that would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. For more information on becoming a sponsor, please contact Jen Dodd directly at jen@makerfestival.ca or 416-997-9048.
You probably think it takes a lot of minds, hearts and hands to make an event like Maker Festival a success – and you’re right! We’re totally volunteer-run and there are plenty of fun and rewarding opportunities to help out. Volunteer with us!
We have volunteer roles open on our Organizing Team as well as volunteering on the day of the event. Volunteering is a great way to share your talents, learn cool things AND have fun while supporting the maker community.
